Professor Eyüp Çetin, Ph.D.
Professor Eyüp Çetin is a Full Professor of Operations Research and Statistics-Analytics in Business and an academic leader whose work spans quantitative research, teaching, and institution building. He has served as Vice Dean of the School of Business at Istanbul University, Director of the School of Transportation and Logistics, and Founding Dean of the Faculty of Transportation and Logistics at Istanbul University, Türkiye’s first and only logistics faculty. He also serves as an Affiliate Distinguished Professor (by Courtesy).
His research spans operations research, statistics, business analytics, optimization, data science, healthcare management science, and mathematical medicine. For nearly two decades, he has led international scholarly journals and connected academic work with practice across business, healthcare, logistics, and the public sector.
