Eyüp Çetin is a Full Professor of Operations Research and Statistics–Analytics in Business and an internationally engaged scholar whose academic career bridges mathematical sciences, business, technology, and healthcare. At Istanbul University, he has served as Vice Dean of the School of Business, Director of the School of Transportation and Logistics, and Founding Dean of the Faculty of Transportation and Logistics, Türkiye’s first and only faculty dedicated to logistics. His research and teaching span operations research, statistics, business analytics, optimization, data science, healthcare management science, and mathematical medicine, bringing analytical rigor and interdisciplinary perspectives to complex real-world challenges. He also serves internationally as an Affiliate Distinguished Professor (by Courtesy).
Beyond his scholarly contributions, Professor Çetin has built an extensive record of academic leadership, institutional development, and international scholarly engagement. For nearly two decades, he has led international scholarly journals and contributed to advancing academic publishing and research communities. His work also encompasses university governance, academic program development, international accreditation, executive education, and the application of analytical methods across business, healthcare, logistics, and the public sector.
